To do otherwise is like swearing icing on a mud pie. It looks pretty on the outside and is somewhat appetizing but if you take a bite you’ll learn there’s a major issue with the pie. I’ll walk you through the process of what you need to do to find out what’s causing YOUR depression (because everyone is different).
- I’ll provide you with tactics for repairing your issues, whichever ones apply to you. And tactics for managing your symptoms and mental health now and always. Because if you’ve been depressed once it will happen again. You need to learn what to do to manage it. Each time you manage it positively you’ll gain new resiliency skills and eventually it won’t be an issue. You’ll be able to live your life without depression even though you have the illness.

I encounter a lot of people in my practice who think they are different than everyone else. While it’s true we are all unique creatures, human beings at the base level are built the same. Functioning at normal levels – being able to think and have the chemicals to produce good mood – requires some base fundamentals. When those get out of sync our bodies (and minds) go into a breakdown mode of sorts. All that’s required are specific tools to fix the problems.
It’s easy if you think as humans as cars. We are more complex and made of biological parts, but we are a system of interrelated parts. Just as you would fix a problem on a car with a specific tool.
